Group of 8 (Australian Universities): European Fellowships

 The Group of Eight are leading research-intensive universities which set up the European Fellowships in 2007 to provide academics with the opportunity to work at a Group of Eight institution for up to six months, together with AUD $20,000 for travel and living costs.

Hungarian researchers have been very successful in applying for the grant in the past years as two Fellowships were awarded in 2007 and two in 2008 for early career researchers working in the areas of health and welfare, astrology, innovative technologies and biotechnology. The fellowships now are open to eligible researchers in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria.
